Welcome to our small workshop nestled in the heart of the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Here, we specialize in crafting custom electric guitars from the finest materials to your exact specifications.
Our passion for music and commitment to craftsmanship is evident in every guitar we create. We take pride in hand selecting each piece of wood and paying attention to every detail of the construction process. From the carving of the body to the installation of the pickups, each step is executed with precision and care.
However, our goal is not just to create beautiful guitars, but also to create instruments that bring joy and pleasure to their players. When you pick up one of our guitars, you’ll immediately feel the difference. The quality of the wood and the meticulous attention to detail produce a sound that is unmatched by mass-produced instruments.
Old School Techniques
We build our custom guitars the old-fashioned way, using the same traditional methods of the classic 1950’s & 1960’s electrics. We go further with fully hand carved necks, hand-set and polished frets, hand wired electronics, and hand sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Every one of our guitars is a unique handcrafted instrument made to last for generations.
Heirloom Quality
We use the highest quality materials in each of our custom instruments. We hand select individual hardwood boards from our local, family-run lumberyards. Each body and neck is jointed, glued, and shaped by hand. We use no CNC Machines in our shop. Our instruments feature high quality, American-made electronics such as, CTS 250k pots, Orange Drop® caps, CRL switches, vintage spec cloth wire, and your choice of pickups for that quintessential classic sound.
How to get started
We will start with a short consultation where you will decide on everything from the wood species, inlays, pickups and electronics, finish, and other specifications. Once you’ve decided on a design, a cost breakdown will be provided for your approval and a deposit will be required to start work. Costs will vary depending on options, but one can expect to spend approximately $1500-2500. Comparable to other USA made instruments in cost, but far beyond in quality. Build time can also vary depending on options and finish curing time.
